14.00hrs: Pick up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Transfer to Sekinchan. (The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours.) 15.30hrs-18.00hrs: Enjoy the scenery of the fishing village and miles and miles of golden or green rice fields of Sekinchan. What you will do during the Sekinchan Trip? Visit to Paddy Gallery and learn more about rice farming. You may try the local snack food and “Ice Kacang ABC” (local ice cream) on the Redang Beach. Make a wish on the Sekinchan Wishing Tree. Next to the beach, there is a Chinese Temple that is known for its giant tree. People come from everywhere to take pictures and make wishes on the Sekinchan Wishing Tree. The entire tree is tangled with hundreds of red ribbons (that represents all the wishes), and is really quite a pretty sight. The Chinese Temple (Nam Tieng Temple) stands right next to the tree; where you can perform prayers, and also obtain a strand of red ribbon to make your wish. The threads are free; but there’s a donation box right next to it. You can then write your name and wishes on the cloth (a table and marker pens are provided). 18.30hrs: Dinner at local seafood restaurant. 20.00hrs: Check in local homestay/hotel. Tour ends.
